FooQR collects information necessary to provide restaurant management services. This includes your name, email address, phone number, restaurant name and address, billing information, and menu and order data entered into the platform. We also collect device and usage data automatically when you use our platform to improve performance and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide, maintain and improve FooQR's services — including billing, order management, analytics, and customer support. We may also use your contact information to send service updates, feature announcements, and support communications. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to FooQR's services without your explicit consent.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

FooQR does not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only with trusted service providers who assist in operating the platform — including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and communication tools — all of whom are contractually bound to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by Indian law or a valid government order.

4. Your Restaurant Data Belongs to You

All menu content, customer data, order history, and business information you enter into FooQR remains your property at all times. FooQR does not claim ownership over your business data. You may export or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@fooqr.com. We will process your request within 7 working days.

5. Payment Data Security

FooQR does not store your complete payment card details on our servers. All payment transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways including Razorpay and other RBI-approved processors. FooQR complies with applicable guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India regarding digital payments.

6. Cookies and Tracking

FooQR uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyse platform usage. You may control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain platform features. We do not use cookies to track your activity outside of the FooQR platform.

7. Data Retention

FooQR retains your account data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 90 days after termination, during which you may request data export. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted from our servers unless retention is required by applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

8. Children's Privacy

FooQR's platform is intended for use by business owners and professionals aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

9. Communications and Marketing

By registering on FooQR, you consent to receiving service-related communications via email, SMS, and WhatsApp. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or messaging us at hello@fooqr.com. Service-critical communications such as billing alerts and security notices cannot be opted out of.

10. Data Security

FooQR implements industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls to protect your data. While we take every reasonable precaution, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, FooQR will notify you within 72 hours in accordance with applicable Indian data protection guidelines.

11. Your Rights Under Indian Law

As a user in India, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data held by FooQR. 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
